QUT Library provides a range of courses, services and resources to assist students in developing extensive information literacy knowledge and skills. Information literacy, as an "emerging skill" and key generic capability is essential for successful study, facilitates their transition into the workforce and assists graduates to become independent, lifelong learners.

Courses are scheduled throughout the year and are available to all academic and professional staff. Please check for program schedules and register at: http://libcat.qut.edu.au/search/P

The Library also assists academics with the development and implementation of systemic, systematic and sustainable approaches to embedding information literacy into the curriculum, and the whole learning experience of students. Library professionals work in partnership with individual academics and teaching teams to develop, design and deliver meaningful information literacy rich learning and teaching opportunities and assessment which meet the particular needs of student groups and cohorts and empowers students as critical users of information.

For consultations and support, contact your Liaison Librarian at: http://www.library.qut.edu.au/about/contact/liaisonlibrarians.jsp.
